What is a giclée print?
Giclée printing (pronounced jhee-clay) is a specialist inkjet printing method which is used to make archival quality fine art prints. Taken from the French term 'la giclée', meaning ‘to spray’, giclee printing achieves a high-resolution reproduction of images by spraying very tiny droplets of ink across the paper. This method is often used by artists, museums and art galleries across the world.
Each of our prints are made using this process and are printed on thick, 310gsm paper. This paper has a beautiful textured surface and is a Natural white, with 100% rag content. With a mean pH value of 7, it has excellent archival qualities.
